J. Emory Lindsey Outreach
(JEL-O)
Have you noticed brightly colored t-shirts around town lately sporting J.E.L.-O? They are promoting J.E.L.-O's newest "flavor", called VISION. The Bible teaches us that we should have a vision and the importance of visions is shared throughout God's word.
The Sandersville First Church of the Nazarene is raising money to fund a Christian Life Center in honor of Pastor Emeritus, Dr. J. Emory Lindsey and his lovel wife, Mrs. Doris Lindsey. Dr. J. Emory Lindsey has long had a vision of building a multi-purpose Christian Life Center where the church can minister to its members and ot the people of our community. Catching Dr. Lindsey's vision with renewed passion is his niece, Denise Haywood Parker. Parker, and her fundraising committee, have formed J. Emory Lindsey Outreach, hince the J.E.L.-O initials, and are actively sponsoring events that will help fulfill not only Dr. Lindsey's vision, but now the vision of the church's congregation.
